Our scholars are guest researchers who are currently visiting one of the SMARTbiomed sites. They bring fresh perspectives, specialised expertise, and new ideas that enrich our research environment and strengthen the work carried out across the centre.

Jian Zeng

Research:
Dr Jian Zeng visited Aarhus University from August 2025-January 2026. Jian leads method development on statistical genetics particularly known for the SBayes algorithms implemented in his GCTB software package. Jian established many research collaborations during his visit and taught two workshops (one in Aarhus and one in Oxford) on Bayesian Methods for Complex Trait Genomic Analysis.
