The Causal Inference Reading Group is a collaborative initiative between the Oxford Causal Inference Group and the Copenhagen Causal Inference Group. Meetings are held online on Fridays at 11:00 CET / 10:00 UK time during the Oxford academic term. Sessions feature discussions of ongoing projects from members of both groups, as well as selected papers from the broader causal inference literature. While participation is currently limited to members of the two working groups, researchers or students affiliated with SMARTbiomed who are interested in joining are welcome to contact Erin Gabriel for more information.
The aim of the CPHDisco network is to bring together local researchers working with causal discovery across different institutions and scientific backgrounds, find common interests, and provide opportunities for us to discuss our work, ideas and struggles. We welcome both methodological and applied researchers, and encourage people at all career levels to join. The network meets in person about 3 times per semester, and alternates between different host institutions. If you are interested in joining the network, please contact the network coordinator Anne Helby Petersen (ahpe@sund.ku.dk).
We focus broadly on topics in statistical genetics. The aim is to provide a forum where researchers from Denmark and the UK can meet and discuss recent statistical genetics publications on both methods and/or applications. We encourage people at all career levels to join. The journal club meets online on Thursdays at 11:00 CET / 10:00 UK time. If you are interested in joining the journal club, please contact scientific coordinator, Gitte Bundgaard Christiansen (gbch.ncrr@au.dk).
